A Spring In My Step

flowers

There is one month of the year that is special to me and when this month swings around every year, mysteriously things start to turn around in my life. This month is September and this is the time of year things always seem to pick up for me.

I’m not entirely sure why this is?

Maybe it’s because I was born in September.

Maybe it’s because September is the start of spring which signifies new growth, rejuvenation and fresh starts?

Maybe it’s because the flowers begin to bloom and cute baby animals are born?

I’m not sure, but I am sure that as soon as September rolls around I come out of my winter hibernation mode and start to feel that spring in my step.

Hi, I'm Kathryn. I love to write. These days when I'm not tapping away on my keyboard or indulging in social media, you can find me trying to perfect my gluten-free baking, dancing around the lounge with my children or engrossed in a book.

  1. Hi, I just found my way here from Zen Presence.

You know, you are right–there is no way to know if things are going to turn around. But experience has always taught me two things:

    1. You will fall flat on your face, more than a few times in your lifetime.

    2. It’s always possible to get up, dust yourself off, and keep at it.

So keep at it. Sometimes we all give in to fear, sometimes we all forget to be positive. Sometimes we all just say “screw it” and listen to those negative voices. Life isn’t always wonderful, but it always is amazing and miraculous.

The most important and most courageous decision I have ever made in my life, came out of an extremely dark time.

    1. Thanks for finding me Bethany and for your heart-warming comments. You are completely right, opportunites often come from the places you least expect. You have a fantastic outlook on life which shows through your blog. Good luck with it all x
